ONE FUNERARIO
GAME RULES | ENGLISH
Welcome to ONE, where no one rests until they run out of cards.
Take a seat, take a deep breath, and don’t worry about the silence… there’s always someone ready to break it with a last-minute call.
Here, losing isn’t the end. It means staying on duty.
How to Play
- 2 to 10 players can play.
- Each player receives 7 cards.
- Place the remaining cards face down to form the draw pile.
- Flip over one card to start the discard pile.
- On your turn, you must play a card that matches the color, number, or symbol of the card on top.
- If you don’t have a valid card, draw 1 card. If you can play it, play it immediately; otherwise, your turn ends.
- When you have only one card left, you must shout “ONE!”.
- If someone catches you before you say it, you draw 2 cards.
- The first player to get rid of all their cards wins. Everyone else stays on duty… until further notice.
Special Cards
Dig 8
Someone has to do the heavy lifting at the cemetery.
When you play Dig 8, the next player draws 8 cards and loses their turn. It may not be their grave, but it is definitely their problem.
Wrong Body
One mislabeled tag, and now everyone has a problem.
When you play Wrong Body, you swap your entire hand with the next player in clockwise order. It doesn’t matter who has more or fewer cards: both players must accept the exchange and continue playing with what they were given. Once the cards have been swapped, there are no returns… the paperwork has already been signed.
Graveyard Shift
It’s midnight, and another service just came in.
When you play Graveyard Shift, every other player draws 1 card. The player who played the card draws nothing.
Prepare Another
You finished one. Congratulations. The next one just arrived.
When you play Prepare Another, you immediately get an extra turn. You must play another valid card; if you don’t have one, draw 1 card and end your turn.
Final Warning
Around here, no one rests until they run out of cards. Keep the paperwork up to date, double-check the labels, and never trust the coworker who says: “This is definitely the last service of the day.”
